Morakniv COMPANION SPARK
The Morakniv Companion Spark is a handy and affordable bushcraft knife featuring a built-in firestarter. Integrated directly into the end of the handle, the firesteel simply clicks out, allowing you to start a fire at a moment's notice.
As the name suggests, this design is based on the iconic Morakniv Companion model—matching its shape, materials, and ergonomics. The blade is crafted from Swedish Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, a corrosion-resistant steel type that is easy to sharpen. Its traditional Scandi grind excels at woodworking, and the blade length is ideal for a wide variety of bushcraft tasks.
Morakniv engineered the spine of the blade with a sharp 90-degree angle specifically for use with the firestarter, making spark generation effortless. This sharp spine is equally useful for scraping wood to create fine tinder.
To ensure the firestarter remains secure in extreme outdoor environments, Morakniv designed a smart twist-lock mechanism. A simple turn to the right releases the rod, while twisting in reverse clicks it firmly back into place.
The Morakniv Companion Spark comes with a durable polymer sheath featuring a belt clip that accommodates belts up to 4.5 cm (1.75 in) wide.
