Exotac polySTRIKER Firesteel
The Exotac polySTRIKER is a minimalist Firesteel with a striker that can be stored in its recycled ABS body. This plastic construction makes the polySTRIKER ultra-light. The core of the supplied cord is made of water-resistant cotton tinder, this fiber-rich material is easy to ignite with a flame or spark. The polySTRIKER is good for 1000 strikes. A firesteel performs even at extreme altitudes with oxygen-poor air and it works just as well when wet. Whether the polySTRIKER is used to light a gas heater or start a campfire, a firesteel is an indispensable part of outdoor equipment.
Impact tools
The polySTRIKER™ has a very hard and very sharp carbide insert for superior spark production. To keep everything neat and tidy, the firing pin snaps into the polySTRIKER™ housing when not in use.
3/16" ferrocerium rod
The included Ferro rod is small and light, but strong enough for regular use. It's waterproof, just pat it dry before hitting.

Flammable cord (New!)
All Exotac lanyards are now made of 550 FireCord™. You just need to strip the outer sheath to reveal a red strand that can be ignited by a spark and burns like a candle!
